You will be given a series of yes or no questions that assess your strengths and weaknesses on ten core characteristics that relate to your ability to perform in the Zone. You must be honest if you want a true assessment. Your score will be computated and given to you on a histogram that will allow you to reference where you are strong and where may need help. Good luck, enjoy the test and remember there is no right or wrong answer. The test will take approximately 4 minutes to complete.

During or after competition situations do you have a tendency to catastrophize (make things seem worse)?

Do you become easily distracted by irrelevant thoughts when you are performing?

Would you say that the vast majority of the time you are able to experience your sport/performance as enjoyable?

Do you feel you practice until the last minute trying to catch up and be better prepared before a competition?

Do you rarely see yourself accomplishing great things?

Do you worry a lot about making mistakes?

Do you occasionally find that you aren't fully prepared for a performance?

Does your confidence substantially improve after each successful performance?

Is the praise of others a very important motivator for you?

Does your performance often dictate how you feel about yourself as a human being?

Are you consistently able to tap into energy within yourself that allows you to work harder than others?

Do you have less fun as the competition becomes more intense?

Are you someone who "wills" themselves to accomplish things?

Do you spend a substantial amount of time thinking, dreaming or daydreaming about what you want to accomplish?

Do you primarily compete for glory and fame?

Do you find that the energy of your desire is often wasted?

When you are working toward a goal do you always keep that goal in the forefront of your mind?

In your sport is it very difficult to attain what you desire?

When you compete are you often self-conscious?

Are you always looking for new ways to improve?

Would you or your competitors describe you as someone who approaches your training for your sport more conventionally rather than uniquely?

Is it hard to take responsibility for your own errors during a performance or competition?

Are you mostly motivated by the desire to see how good you can be?

During performance do sensations like pain or discomfort go away?
