How to Stay in the Zone

Elite Athletes

As an Elite athlete, you have all the physical tools to succeed. However only those who are mentally and emotionally prepared can get into the Zone on a consistent basis and gain the competitor's edge.

Regardless of how the fans and media may perceive you - you're human and susceptible to all of life's stressors. Indeed, the pressures of intense competition can breakdown the neurochemical systems in the brain causing you to become anxious and lose focus, directly impacting your performance.

No More Choking Under Pressure

I've worked with champions in all realms of sport, and have trained them to become their own "mental coach" so they can break the vicious cycle of losing confidence and choking under pressure.

As a former athlete and now medical doctor trained in psychiatry and psychobiology with 20 years of research and clinical experience, I can help you Find Your Zone so that even under intense pressure you can achieve peak performance on a consistent basis.

Getting Started

My work with you is totally confidential and begins with a one-on-one consultation conducted in person, on the phone, skype or via ichat. This initial interview focuses on any medical, psychological and life stressors that could be impeding your performance in sports and life. A complete diagnostic assessment and comprehensive peak performance plan is then created integrating your unique needs and goals. I then provide on-going consultation to insure your success. To talk more about how I can help you, please contact my office directly or send me an e-mail.
